I've known David for a few years now and only just recently met Kate. The funny thing though is that my wife has been following Kate's blog for years. So she told me that this blogger she follows is marrying David. How random, right? Then I get an email from David later that week, asking me to shoot their wedding.

She has an amazing story of heartache and beauty. But their collective story is one of amazing love and redemption. They met as children at summer camp. They came full circle at their wedding by getting married at those same old camp grounds.

Their ceremony was timed to happen right at sunset. The light, their story and the beauty that was that fall evening made this one of the most powerful ceremonies I have ever shot.
