Tony & Elena Get Married

December 10, 2010

I had the opportunity to meet Tony and Elena and their three amazing girls at their engagement shoot this past winter. It was a task to out-with those girls. They are so sharp and funny.

Their wedding was so unique and tailored to suit their family. The decided a couple of months before their wedding to move the venue to their backyard. Their church had recently come under a significant financial strain and they couldn't rationalize having an extravagant wedding while their church family hurt. And you could feel the love come the day of the wedding.

We had such a good time walking around their small town of Wilmington. I could've easily shot around there for another day. The sun made an appearance for the ceremony and we had a clear night, filled with dancing for the reception. The kids continued to sneak off to the chocolate fountain throughout the night for a sugar recharge and even I got pulled into a dance by sticky-fingered Rory, the six year old.
